Your privacy and the privacy of every user on the ACA site is very important to us. We begin by collecting only the the basic information needed. We do not collect physical addresses. The registration form does not collect date of birth but has a box to check age range. The ACA is not a membership site. But registering as a user allows you to submit specific materials for preservation in the Archive or information or a resource for posting (after approval) to the CIRC of the ACA to be helpful for others. No Depositors personal information will be posted on the ACA website. The Deposit Form and Deed of Gift includes name, address, phone number, and email address for contacting, but these forms are printed and mailed in or emailed to us.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information that we collect to operate and maintain our Sites, send you marketing communications, and respond to your questions and concerns.
We Do Not Share Your Information
We do not share your information, except if required to do so to comply with the law and law enforcement if subject to subpoena or other legal proceeding in the jurisdiction of the United States of America.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information: We may share non-personally identifiable information (such as anonymous usage data, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, number of clicks, etc.) to assist the ACA in improving its sites’ operation and performance and to help serve the users better.

Information from registered users may come from various lands globally. This information is stored on our dedicated server in the United States. We may transfer data to another server in the U.S. to replicate it in order to protect it in the prospective unexpected loss of the dedicated server. You agree that the ACA may store and process personal data in the United States of America.
How We Protect Your Information
The ACA is concerned with protecting your privacy and data, but we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to the ACA or guarantee that your information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of any of our industry standard physical, technical or managerial safeguards. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. The ACA is committed to compliance with applicable laws governing the protection of children’s data, such as the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). For that reason, the ACA does not collect addresses and birthdates of registered users.
